Se llevó a cabo la séptima edición de la entrega de Premios “Xahni” a la labor docente en las instalaciones del Auditorio “Fernando Díaz Ramírez” de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ), donde se galardonó a 14 docentes de las distintas facultades y Escuela de Bachilleres, con el objetivo de honrar el esfuerzo de la comunidad académica para el desarrollo de esta Casa de Estudios. 

El nombre “Xahni” proviene del otomí y puede significar “enseñar” y también “quien transmite conocimiento”, razón por la que se denominó de esta forma a los reconocimientos, pues engloba la naturaleza propia de esta profesión; su importancia no solamente recae en los saberes transmitidos, sino que reconoce la relevancia que las y los académicos tienen en el proceso formativo de la comunidad estudiantil.

La Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro se mantiene como una opción educativa gracias a sus acreditaciones de excelencia académica. Durante la sesión ordinaria del H. Consejo Universitario, se informó que cuatro de sus licenciaturas obtuvieron certificación como programas de calidad por parte de los Comités Interinstitucionales para la Evaluación de la Educación Superior (CIEES): Horticultura Ambiental, Matemáticas Aplicadas, así como Diseño y Comunicación Visual.
 
En voz de la rectora, Dra. Silvia Amaya Llano, se extendió un reconocimiento a las facultades de Ciencias Naturales, Ingeniería y Artes por su compromiso con la calidad, pues gracias a este esfuerzo es que los CIEES otorgaron dichas acreditaciones, las cuales garantizan a la comunidad estudiantil que se encuentran cursando una carrera con altos estándares de calidad.

Estudiantes de las carreras de Ingeniería Civil y Arquitectura de la Facultad de Ingeniería (FI) y de los programas académicos de la Facultad de Contaduría y Administración de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ) participaron en el “Programa Piloto de Capacitaciones UAQ-EUCOMEX” y en la “Certificación de Desarrollo Profesional UAQ-FESE 2024-1”. 

El objetivo de la iniciativa fue brindar a 66 participantes las herramientas necesarias para nutrir su desarrollo profesional a través de cursos teórico-prácticos, impartidos por dos empresas: Fundación Educación Superior Empresa y EUCOMEX. Gracias a la tecnología blockchain, quienes completaron las capacitaciones recibieron una acreditación digital que las avala y que estará reflejada en perfiles virtuales, como LinkedIn.

During the third Ordinary Session of the University Committee on Care and Solidarity Relations of the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ), 15 new members were sworn in as part of the organization, whose main objective is to mainstream the care perspective, in the broadest sense of social inclusion, in all areas and departments of the Institution.

The award ceremony took place in the Fernando Díaz Ramírez Auditorium, where the Rector of the UAQ, Dr. Silvia Lorena Amaya Llano, thanked the members of this Committee - attached to the Care Network - for their dedication to strengthening collaborative work dynamics in terms of a culture of peace within this House of Studies.

The community of the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ) participated actively, transparently and democratically on the electoral day of this May 28, during the election of the persons in charge of the directorates of the School of Bachelors and the 13 faculties of the Institution, for the period 2024-2027. At the closing of the polls, 18,048 students and teachers of this House of Studies voted, without major incidents.
 
The Academic Secretary and Secretary of the Special Commission of the H. University Council for this exercise, Dr. Rolando Javier Salinas García, highlighted that the  Alma Mater  of Querétaro has distinguished itself - at all times - by having these processes of auscultation for those who lead the management positions in the School of Bachelors and the faculties, without impositions or assignments, putting to the consideration of their communities the projects they want for their spaces.
