The ninth edition of the National School of Foundry and Metallurgy was held at the Biotechnology Park of the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ). Its purpose is to promote the strengthening of the industrial and scientific sector through the training of specialized personnel in this field.

The activities that took place during this edition consisted of presentations, workshops and visits to companies in the metallurgical and foundry industry. A total of 118 participants were registered, including teachers, students and employees of the sector in question, which exceeded the attendance levels of previous editions.

During the closing ceremony, the director of the Faculty of Chemistry (FQ), Dr. José Santos Cruz, highlighted that the School included, as part of its activities, the approach of students to private investment, providing them with experiences and pragmatic knowledge about this discipline. This practical approach allows them to better understand the challenges and opportunities within the sector, offering comprehensive training for their future job placement.

In this sense, the National School of Foundry and Metallurgy is a fundamental platform for the academic and professional training of its participants, which aims to create a bridge between science and industry, promoting innovation and technological progress in the metallurgical and foundry fields.

In this way, the UAQ reaffirms its commitment to strengthening science and economic growth, providing participants with essential tools and knowledge for their professional development. Initiatives to link with private investment are key to preparing its community for the challenges of the future.
