A partir del 01 y hasta el 05 de septiembre, el grupo Cómicos de la Legua de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, celebrará su 65° Aniversario con presentaciones de teatro clásico español, al mando de la Lic. Patricia Murillo Soto, quien dirige esta compañía desde abril del año en curso. Los primeros cuatro días el montaje se exhibirá en el Mesón de los Cómicos de la Legua, mientras que el último día lo harán en el atrio de Santa Rosa de Viterbo.
En la función de celebración presentarán la obra “La farsa y justicia del señor Corregidor”, del autor Alejandro Casona y “La guarda cuidadosa”, de Miguel de Cervantes. La función contará con enlaces con romances castellanos, historias de personajes o familias españolas hechas canciones, como pequeñas obras cantadas.

El Auditorio Mtro. Felipe de las Casas López Malagón de la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro recibió a la soprano queretana, Martha Juliana Ayech Rodríguez, quien engalanó este escenario con un amplio repertorio de ópera, en el marco de la quinta temporada de los Miércoles de Conciertos Didácticos.
La voz de esta ganadora de importantes premios nacionales e internacionales estuvo acompañada del pianista Roberto Ramírez, para deleitar a la comunidad de la Máxima Casa de estudios queretana con un programa del compositor italiano Giacomo Puccini, con “Vissi D’arte” de la ópera “Tosca” y “Tu che di gel sei cinta” de “Turandot”.

The Highest House of Studies in the state of Querétaro - through its rector Dr. Silvia Amaya Llano and the head of the Secretariat of Extension and University Culture, Dr. Eduardo Nuñez Rojas - signed a general agreement for cultural collaboration and academic exchange with the Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design of the University for Development and Innovation (UDI) of Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
The agreement aims to establish links between both educational centers for the development of joint activities, including conferences and webinars to discuss topics of interest; and the application of the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) methodology, where UAQ students will work with their peers from other countries on online projects.

Thanks to his talent with the lens and his particular way of seeing the world, the graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Art Teaching, offered at the Faculty of Arts (FA) San Juan del Río campus, César Vargas Lechuga, is among the finalists of the sixth World Cup of University Photography (CMFU), promoted by the International Photography Festival in León (FFIEL), with his work "De pie".
According to Vargas Lechuga, it is a source of pride that his image has been selected among the best in the competition; it is news that changed his life. His work, in black and white, shows a dead tree in the middle of a lake, an image that represents the paradoxes of life, symbolized by water, and death represented by the wood that, despite its condition, remains there.
