The Highest House of Studies in the state of Querétaro - through its rector Dr. Silvia Amaya Llano and the head of the Secretariat of Extension and University Culture, Dr. Eduardo Nuñez Rojas - signed a general agreement for cultural collaboration and academic exchange with the Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design of the University for Development and Innovation (UDI) of Santa Cruz, Bolivia.  

The agreement aims to establish links between both educational centers for the development of joint activities, including conferences and webinars to discuss topics of interest; and the application of the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) methodology, where UAQ students will work with their peers from other countries on online projects.

During the formal ceremony, the Rector highlighted the importance of establishing ties between sister institutions to strengthen the student and teaching community of both countries. She also thanked the corresponding efforts and the trust placed in making this collaboration a reality, which will be of particular benefit to the Faculty of Arts. 

In this regard, Dr. Nuñez Rojas acknowledged the support of Dr. Amaya Llano in internationalization initiatives, particularly this cooperation for the benefit of future professionals. He also expressed his gratitude to the UDI authorities for this exchange that will enrich the members of both entities.  

As part of the actions of this alliance between Latin American universities -developed online- it also seeks to link Mexican students with Bolivian companies or work centers and vice versa, in the format of academic practices, in order to develop international internships.
